Why Illuma Somatics Exists

Illuma Somatics was created for people who have already tried to change—and are ready for something deeper.

People who don’t just want to understand themselves,
but want to experience their life differently.

It is for:

  • The mother or father tired of yelling at her kids even though they can’t help it. They notice they’re being triggered but they have no idea what it is about or how to stop. They want to be the best parent they can be.

  • The high achiever struggling in love. They’ve analyzed their attachment style from head to toe - but they keep picking the same person in a different font.

  • The son who wants a better relationship to his family but still holds on to past resentment limiting his ability to enjoy christmas dinners and family sundays

  • The entrepreneur constantly driven by the fear of failure but longs for meaning, purpose and sustainable growth. They’re aware of their burnout cycles but can’t seem to get rid of the fear of losing it all in their body.

  • The daughter who keeps tracking her food and exercise morning and evening but can’t seem to let the control go. She’s tried it all but the fear of gaining weight fills her thoughts and worries her family.

  • The wife who longs for more intimacy but her body keeps shutting down every chance she gets of intimacy. It’s affecting their marriage and she feels ashamed.

  • The husband who can’t drop the smoking, working and affairs even though he deeply loves his family. He knows he’s running from himself but now he’s had enough and wants real change.

Illuma Somatics is a modern, approach to transformation that works at the intersection between body and mind.

What This Work Changes

Clients often come to Illuma Somatics feeling:

  • stuck in the same emotional or relational patterns

  • overwhelmed or constantly “on”

  • reactive in close relationships

  • successful externally, but not internally aligned

Through this work, many begin to notice:

  • less reactivity and overthinking

  • more emotional stability

  • clearer decision-making

  • healthier relationship dynamics

  • a stronger sense of self-trust

  • more presence in their relationships and family life

This is not about becoming someone else.
It is about changing the patterns that shape how you experience your life—and how you show up for others.

Horses have long symbolized strength, freedom, and embodied power.
Having grown up riding and caring for horses at a private equestrian farm in North Zealand, I have always experienced them as deeply regulating to the nervous system—grounding, steadying, and quietly transformative.

This painting marks the Year of the Horse, 2026—a year of momentum, expansion, and alignment with the life you are called to live.

Each deliberate brushstroke creates a sense of forward motion, inviting the viewer to release what no longer serves them and to move with clarity and confidence toward their future.

The two horses advance in quiet harmony, reflecting the power of aligned movement—of trusting both yourself and the relationships that support your growth. Together, they embody resilience, partnership, and the courage to rise into what is next.

This work is an invitation to remember: progress is not rushed - it is embodied, intentional, and sovereign. Just like the wild horses.
