These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to purchases of services, sessions, programs, memberships, courses, practitioner trainings, digital products and other offerings provided by Illuma Somatics (“Illuma Somatics”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By purchasing or enrolling in an Illuma Somatics offering, you agree to these Terms.

Illuma Somatics provides educational, coaching, hypnotherapy and personal-development services and products.

Our offerings may include:

• Individual hypnotherapy and coaching sessions

• Multi-session programs

• Group programs and group supervision

• Online courses and practitioner training

• Illuma Somatics Method training

• Memberships and communities

• Workshops and events

• Guided hypnosis recordings

• EFT and somatic practices

• Workbooks, assessments and other downloadable materials

• Other educational and digital content

The exact content of your purchase is described on the relevant sales, booking or checkout page at the time of purchase.

Illuma Somatics combines approaches that may include hypnotherapy, somatic practices, nervous-system education, psychological theory, coaching, EFT, guided imagery, reflective exercises and other personal-development methods.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Illuma Somatics services and educational materials are not medical treatment, psychiatric treatment or a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a licensed healthcare professional.

Participation does not establish a psychologist-patient, physician-patient or other medical relationship.

If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, contact the appropriate emergency or healthcare service in your country.

Personal development, coaching, hypnosis and educational programs are individual processes.

We do not guarantee any particular psychological, emotional, relational, professional, financial, business, health or other result from participating in an Illuma Somatics service or using an Illuma Somatics product.

Testimonials and examples from previous clients or students illustrate individual experiences only and do not constitute a promise that another person will achieve the same result.

You remain responsible for your own decisions, actions and use of the information and practices provided.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.

Illuma Somatics may provide training in the Illuma Somatics Method and related approaches.

Completing an Illuma Somatics training does not, by itself, grant the participant the legal status of psychologist, psychotherapist, physician, healthcare professional or any other regulated professional title.

Participants are responsible for understanding and complying with the laws, professional requirements, insurance requirements and scope-of-practice rules that apply to them in the country or jurisdiction in which they work.

Illuma Somatics training is educational and does not constitute authorization to diagnose or treat medical or psychiatric conditions where the participant is not otherwise legally qualified to do so.

Where a particular program offers an Illuma Somatics certificate or practitioner designation, the requirements for receiving and continuing to use that designation may be described separately as part of that program.

Students and practitioners are responsible for exercising appropriate professional judgment when applying material learned through Illuma Somatics.

This includes recognizing when a client requires support beyond the practitioner's competence or legal scope and, where appropriate, referring the client to a qualified healthcare or mental-health professional.

Illuma Somatics is not responsible for services independently provided by students, graduates or practitioners to their own clients.

Unless otherwise stated, all Illuma Somatics materials are owned by Illuma Somatics or used with appropriate permission.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Course videos

• Training materials

• Slides and presentations

• Hypnosis scripts

• Hypnosis recordings

• Practitioner scripts

• Frameworks and methodologies

• Workbooks

• Worksheets

• Assessments

• Exercises

• Written content

• Graphics

• Program structures

• Teaching materials

• Branding

• The Illuma Somatics Method

Purchasing a product or program gives you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to access and use the material for its intended purpose.

It does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property to you.

Practitioner-training participants may use techniques and principles they have learned in their own work with clients to the extent permitted by the particular training and applicable law.

However, unless Illuma Somatics gives written permission, participants may not:

• Reproduce or resell Illuma Somatics training materials

• Upload course materials to another platform

• Distribute recordings or videos

• Share paid course access with another person

• Copy or redistribute workbooks or training manuals

• Sell Illuma Somatics scripts as their own digital products

• Record and resell Illuma Somatics teaching

• Create a training or certification substantially reproducing Illuma Somatics proprietary training materials

• Present themselves as the creator or owner of the Illuma Somatics Method

Practitioners may adapt what they have learned into their own professional practice, but purchasing training does not grant a license to reproduce or commercially distribute Illuma Somatics' proprietary educational materials.

Where an offering includes access to an online platform, course portal, membership or digital library, access is personal to the purchaser.

Login information must not be shared with others.

Illuma Somatics may suspend or terminate access where there is reasonable evidence of unauthorized sharing, copying, redistribution, resale or other material breach of these Terms.

The duration of access will be stated on the relevant sales page or product description. “Lifetime access,” where specifically offered, means access for as long as Illuma Somatics continues to host and make that particular product available, subject to applicable consumer law.

Prices are displayed before purchase in the currency stated on the relevant checkout page.

Any applicable taxes or VAT will be handled in accordance with applicable law and displayed where required.

Payment is due according to the payment option selected at checkout.

Where a payment plan is offered, choosing installments does not necessarily turn the purchase into a monthly cancellable subscription. Unless expressly described as a subscription, a payment plan represents payment of the total agreed purchase price in installments.

Failure to participate in or complete a program does not automatically cancel remaining payment obligations, subject always to mandatory consumer rights and applicable law.

Digital products may include prerecorded courses, hypnosis recordings, workbooks, videos, assessments, downloads and other digital materials.

Consumers purchasing online generally have a statutory right of withdrawal under Danish and EU consumer law.

For digital content supplied immediately and not on a physical medium, the statutory withdrawal right may cease once delivery begins where the consumer has expressly consented to immediate delivery and expressly acknowledged that this results in the loss of the right of withdrawal, in accordance with applicable law.

Where required, this consent will be collected separately during checkout.

Nothing in these Terms removes a statutory consumer right that cannot legally be waived.

Consumers purchasing services online generally have a 14-day statutory withdrawal period from conclusion of the agreement, subject to applicable exceptions.

However, under EU and Danish law online products delivered right when purchased are not included in the 14-day withdrawal period as they are instantly delivered. 

For individually booked appointments, clients should provide at least 48 hours' notice if they need to cancel or reschedule.

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice may be considered used and may not be refunded.

Failure to attend an appointment without notice may also result in the session being considered used.

If Illuma Somatics needs to cancel an appointment, the client will be offered a reasonable opportunity to reschedule or, where appropriate, receive a refund for the affected service.

This cancellation policy applies subject to any mandatory rights available under applicable consumer law.

Where a client purchases a package containing multiple private sessions, the package is personal and may not be transferred to another person unless Illuma Somatics agrees otherwise in writing.

Any expiration period or required timeframe for using sessions will be stated when purchasing the package.

Failure to schedule or attend included sessions within the applicable access period does not automatically create an entitlement to a refund, subject to mandatory consumer rights. 

Some programs include live teaching, group coaching, demonstrations, supervision or practice sessions.

Illuma Somatics may reasonably adjust dates, times, teachers, session structures or delivery methods when operationally necessary.

Where live sessions are recorded, participants will be informed where appropriate.

Participants must respect the privacy of other group members.

Personal stories, experiences or identifying information shared by another participant during a private group session must not be recorded, reproduced, published or shared outside the group without that person's permission. The person has the right to revoke the consent at any time and actions must follow.

Practitioner training may include demonstrations, partner exercises or opportunities to practice techniques.

Participation in an exercise does not mean that the participant is required to disclose information they do not wish to share.

Where participants practice with one another, they agree to treat personal information disclosed during practice with respect and confidentiality.

If you purchase an Illuma Somatics membership or another recurring subscription, the recurring price and billing interval will be disclosed before purchase.

Unless otherwise stated, the subscription continues until cancelled.

You may cancel future renewal according to the cancellation method provided with the membership. Cancellation stops future subscription payments but does not ordinarily create a refund for a membership period that has already begun, except where required by applicable law.

Access to membership content and community features may end when the paid membership period ends.

Illuma Somatics may change membership pricing or features. Existing members will receive reasonable notice of material changes where required by law.

Participants in Illuma Somatics groups, memberships, communities and trainings are expected to interact respectfully.

Illuma Somatics may restrict or terminate participation in cases involving serious or repeated:

• Harassment

• Threatening behavior

• Discrimination

• Deliberate violation of another participant's privacy

• Unauthorized solicitation

• Sharing of confidential group information

• Unauthorized distribution of Illuma Somatics materials

• Conduct that materially disrupts the learning environment

Any financial consequences of termination will be determined in accordance with the circumstances, the contract and applicable consumer law.

Illuma Somatics treats personal information shared during private sessions with care and discretion.

However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

For group programs, Illuma Somatics asks participants to maintain confidentiality, but cannot guarantee that another participant will comply with that obligation. Participants should therefore exercise judgment regarding what they choose to disclose in a group environment.

Personal data is otherwise processed in accordance with Illuma Somatics' Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.

Clients and participants may not record private sessions, group sessions, training calls, supervision sessions or course content without prior permission from Illuma Somatics and, where relevant, other participants.

Illuma Somatics will not use identifiable recordings of a client or participant for public marketing without appropriate permission.

If a client or participant voluntarily provides a testimonial or review, Illuma Somatics will only use it for marketing in accordance with the permission provided and applicable law.

Where additional consent is legally required for a particular use, such consent will be obtained separately.

The customer is responsible for having a suitable internet connection, device and software necessary to access online content.

Illuma Somatics will take reasonable steps to maintain access to purchased digital services but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability where disruption results from maintenance, third-party platforms or circumstances reasonably outside our control.

This does not affect statutory rights relating to defective or non-conforming digital content or services.

Illuma Somatics continuously develops its teaching and may update, improve or replace course materials.

Reasonable changes may therefore be made to program content, sequencing, exercises or supporting materials.

Material changes will not be made in a way that deprives a purchaser of the essential service or product they purchased, except where necessary or permitted by applicable law.

Refund eligibility depends on the type of product or service purchased and applicable consumer law.

Illuma Somatics does not offer an additional general satisfaction-based refund guarantee unless one is expressly stated on the relevant sales page.

This does not affect statutory rights, including applicable rights of withdrawal, remedies for defective digital content or services, or other mandatory consumer protections.

Where a refund is legally required, it will be processed in accordance with applicable law.

Participation in hypnosis, somatic work, coaching, reflective exercises or personal-development work can sometimes bring up strong thoughts, emotions, memories or physical sensations.

You are responsible for deciding whether participation is appropriate for you and for seeking qualified professional healthcare where necessary.

If you have concerns about whether a particular exercise, recording or program is appropriate given your physical or mental health circumstances, you should consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Do not listen to hypnosis, meditation or guided-practice recordings while driving, cycling, operating machinery or doing anything requiring your full attention.

Use recordings only in an environment where it is safe to relax and reduce your attention to your surroundings.

Where Illuma Somatics discusses business, career, leadership, money, confidence, performance or similar topics, the information is educational and coaching-oriented.

It does not constitute individualized financial, investment, tax or legal advice.

No particular income, career advancement, business performance or financial outcome is guaranteed.

Illuma Somatics may use third-party providers for payment processing, scheduling, video hosting, email communication, community functions and course delivery.

Use of those services may also be subject to the third party's own terms and privacy practices.

Illuma Somatics is not responsible for interruptions or failures caused solely by third-party systems outside our reasonable control, without prejudice to rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Illuma Somatics will not be responsible for delay or failure to perform caused by circumstances reasonably outside our control, such as serious illness, natural disasters, widespread technical failures, governmental restrictions or similar extraordinary events.

Where such circumstances affect an ongoing program, Illuma Somatics will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative date, method of delivery or other appropriate solution.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Illuma Somatics is not liable for indirect or consequential losses resulting from the use of its educational materials or voluntary personal-development services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation would be unlawful, including mandatory consumer protections.

Information about applicable consumer complaint procedures may also be provided where required by Danish or EU law.

These Terms are governed by Danish law.

For consumers residing in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under applicable law.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved between the parties will be handled by the competent courts or applicable consumer dispute-resolution system in accordance with mandatory law.

Illuma Somatics may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business or legal requirements.

The terms applicable to a particular purchase are generally those provided or made available in connection with that purchase, subject to subsequent changes that are legally permitted.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
